The North Carolina Central Park Region is a wonderful place to live. To quote the Central Park NC website:
"Our small towns are nestled in the forests and near pastures of the ancient Uwharrie Mountains. Our eight counties include the Yadkin and Pee Dee rivers and a chain of sparkling lakes. We live in close proximity to numerous 5 million people in growing metropolitan areas - Charlotte, Raleigh, Greensboro, NC and Spartanburg and Florence SC - yet enjoy a quality and pace of life that sets us worlds apart. Here visitors can discover some of what the area has to offer."
